Life’s better when you actually notice it.
Slowth (noun): The practice of slow, intentional growth. A lifestyle that prioritises presence over productivity, depth over speed, and meaning over metrics.
Fun fact: sloths aren’t lazy. They are efficient. Their lifestyle is all about conserving energy and avoiding stress.
Sloths inspire me. So much so I decided to embrace Slowth (Slow, Intentional Growth): a lifestyle of finding humour in life’s monotony, of saying No more than Yes, of choosing not to run the rat race, of prioritising well being over deadlines, of prioritising people over projects.
A busy sloth is someone who’s deeply engaged with life, recognises its many facets (work as one of them), and refuses to sprint through it. I, the author, am Busy Sloth #1. I have witnessed the benefits of this lifestyle I chose. And now, I’m sharing it with you.
It’s not as serious as it sounds though. You’ll see ;)
